BRAIN CHALLENGE

Creative Marketing Assistant

DESCRIPTION:

AVE Network is seeking an enthusiastic and results oriented individual to join the AVE volunteer committee to provide support as our Creative Marketing Coordinator. You’ll work closely with the AVE Network Chair and Marketing & Sponsorship Assistant to create and advise with marketing our monthly and annual events.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Proactive and take initiative on marketing

  • Create basic social media images

  • Social Media Posts (3 - 5 times a month) on:

    • Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter & Facebook

  • Forward event notices to partnered non profit groups

  • Support and advise on marketing leading up to and after event day

  • Occasionally represent AVE Network at events

SKILLS:

  • Digital media savvy with experience in social media publishing

  • Technically Capable and Creative

  • Experience in illustrative software

  • Experience in Google Drive

  • Willing to open creative conversations and put forth ideas

Workshop Lead/Assistant

DESCRIPTION:

Do you love learning and meeting new industry leaders? Then this AVE Network Opportunity is for you!  AVE Network is seeking an organized, results oriented and friendly individual to join the AVE volunteer committee to provide support to our Workshop Coordinator Lead. You’ll will help the team to set up and plan our upcoming workshops to support our STEM peers in their career development.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work closely with AVE Network's Workshop Coordinator 

  • Support in setting up and organizing 1.5hr mini workshops

  • Book and set up venues as per industry partner needs

  • Communicate with AVE Network Team in a timely manner

  • Occasionally represent AVE Network at events

SKILLS:

  • Experience in Google Drive

  • Organized and Results Oriented

  • Friendly and instigate communication with partner groups when needed

  • Willing to open creative conversations and put forth ideas
