Speaker Q&A - WinSTEM Week

The AVE NETWORK is excited to once again participate in WinSTEM week, October 10-14, 2017. WinSTEM week, through AWSN, is held annually every October to celebrate the contributions and accomplishments of women in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathemetics).

Join us for our special event, Wednesday October 11th. Our special guest is Caralyn Bennet, Executive Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer of GLJ Petroleum Consultants. Caralyn will be joining us for an open Q&A session! This will be a great opportunity to ask Caralyn, a successful woman leader, any question you may have about the industry, leadership, the road to success, and many more! There will be an opportuniy to network as well.

Caralyn began working for GLJ in 1990 and temporarily left the company to co-found a private oil and gas company. She returned to GLJ in 2010. Caralyn has accelerated to her current role leading both Competitive Intelligence and Corporate Evaluation teams at GLJ. Her past work experience includes; reserves and resource governance, technology advisory services, technology transfer, in situ bitumen evaluations, enhanced oil recovery and mergers and acquisitions. In addition to her role at GLJ, she is member of the Petroleum Advisory Committee to the Alberta Securities Commission and recently contributed to the technology section of the Resources Other Than Reserves (ROTR) best practice guidance within the Canadian Oil and Gas Evaluation Handbook (COGEH). Ms. Bennett is a passionate advocate for excellence via continuous improvement including the responsible development of oil and gas resources.
