How To Get " Unstuck" From Technical Roles
Do you ever feel stuck in your role at work? Or like you're being passed up for promotions and missing out doing the projects you want? Then this workshop is for you! Our expert presenter, Wilma Li, a career coach and Human Resources professional, will be leading AVE's first ever workshop this May and she will be explaining to us the definition and reason for being "stuck"! In this workshop, we will also discuss how to assess if you are stuck by reviewing different factors and symptoms. Wilma will also be sharing some startling stats and biases from her 25 years of experience in this field. And most importantly, we will be discussing the steps and different options each of us have to get unstuck in our roles and excel as the professional we strive to be!
Wilma Li is a seasoned Career Coach and designated Human Resources professional (CPHR) with a Prosci Change Management certification and Bachelor degree in Psychology. From progression to leadership roles and having gone through successfully nine career changes and 11 industries, she loves coaching clients in career changes, progression and helping them get unstuck. She excels at interpersonal skills to build trust and rapport with a variety of stakeholders and manages relationships by leveraging experience from a wide range of industries. She is also a partner at Social Venture Partners and an active volunteer at the Canadian Liver Foundation. She is looking forward to helping you with your career.
